Currently, you cannot, but it is coming and will arrive in arround mid-2009. Hope this helps.
It can be done. Get a Sima GoDVD unit as you'll need it. Without it, they can enclose a stop recording command which will turn off the record function in your computer's proggie.
You can connect the output of your DVR in a DVD recorder, such as the Samsung DVD-VR375. This will record your DVR programs directly to DVD.
No it does not. Technically, it never is 'off'. The two lines that come into the back of the DVR are both solid constant feeds coming in, and the DVR is constantly monitoring start times that are your scheduler. ** Additionally, it is BEST to 'shut off' the DVR when you want to record 2 simultaneous programs on different channels, so that it is not using one of the feeds to display the channel it is tuned to (even tho your tv is shut off) while the other feed is used for recording. When the receiver is 'shut off' it will use both feeds to ensure successful recording of both programs.
you have to stick your computer so far up your but your balls fall off
No you have to put it to hybernate i belive some of the laptops have that option like my Alienware laptop if you do that it will run the programs while its closed and monitor is off but will run the programs and download. Other than that if your laptop doesnt have that option no
you can turn it off by cancelling your recordings
I would start off by trying www.barracudanetworks.com for antivirus programs. If you dont find what you want there, then try www.Norton.com
Off of your DVR, if you have one.
Sounds to me like you're hitting the `timer record' button and what's happening is that a lot of DVR's have an automatic preset time they'll record before shutting off on their own. Try to see if you can reset the record length, or find a different way to set up the recorder to record your programs.
Some websites, do in fact make you require you to download special software in order to print off their coupons. Others do not.
There are several places you can buy different illustration software. You can either buy these programs off sites like Amazon or you can buy them direct, such as the Adobe programs.
Virtually every DVR offers off-site scheduling which can be done through cell phones, a user account on the internet or even PDAs and iPhones.
