Can you dream in a dream?

Dreams are generated by the subconscious mind, which can produce any sort of dream. So yes, one can dream about having a dream. That dream, like many things seen in dreams, would be a symbol representing something like a dream. For example, a dream about dreaming could mean that you are not facing reality in your waking life. However, dreams within dreams of the sort portrayed in the movie "Inception" are Science Fiction. It is not possible to induce specific dreams, or to share specific dream content with other individuals.

Yes you can read in your dreams. I Have a Dream journal and an instance today was very specific I borrowed someones phone to send a text message in the dream. Not only was I able to type in my number. Though first I did it incorrectly (sent to my old home phone) the second time I was able to. It was a picture of someone who had died and they said he was around 2856 years old which I found ridiculous because, how is that possible. So I took a picture of it with the mans phone and sent it to mine. It had the year and in inscription under the asterisk both of which I was able to read. When I asked the priest about how old this person was.

Although many people will say it is impossible, I know for a fact that you -can- read in a dream. I have had it happen numerous times including last night.

I've had dreams in which I was talking in other languages, ones I know in real life, and I have probably had dreams in which I read something, although I can't remember any right now. I think it is quite possible though.
