This depends. Do you live with him? Is his name on the title of the car? If these are no then your answer is no. Generally you cannot insure something you don't own. In an immediate family situation where you are all members of one household, they make exceptions. You should really start your own policy so you can build your own policy with an insurance company. The price will not be much difference as you are the rated driver anyway. You might not get the multi-car discount if you have one vehicle only but that's the only difference.

Can you register and insure a car that you do not own?

You CAN register a car owned by someone else in some states, but doing so can lead to many problems if the driver gets into trouble and you are registered to the car. Insuring a car you do not own can also lead to problems but many more people do it. (e.g., if your dad is lending you his car and he says that you have to insure it.)

Can you claim to an auto insurance if you had a minor car accident but you don't have a driver's license but your car insurance its on your dad's name?

Driving without a license is a crime. If you report that you where driving your dad's care without a license, you could get yourself into trouble, and put your dad's rates though the roof. Do not call the insurance company and tell them you where driving unlicensed. If you have your permit, and where driving legally with a licensed driver, and you had an accident in your dad's car, yes, you can report it and his insurance may cover it if he has that type of policy. If anything, your dad could report that he had the accident, though that would be dishonest.

Can you drive your dad's fully comprehensive insured car with his permission?

It depends how old are you and whether or not you are an insured driver under the terms of the terms of your Dad's insurance policy. Your Dad's insurance agent can tell you if you are insured to drive the vehicle.

Can your 17 year old son buy car insurance you are his father and disabled and does not drive?

Yes, you should have no problem getting a vehicle insured for your son. Presumably Dad owns the car but the son is the primary driver and Dad doesn't drive. This is not an uncommon situation.
