Yes, I've done it myself.
You'll need to remove the feet from the frame and add castors. (Little wheels that swivel.)
Build a 3 sided box out of paneling and a piece of countertop for a top.
The setup that connects the hoses to the faucet and the adapter for the faucet itself is available from most Plumbing supply stores or you can get it from the on-line parts department at Sears.
Then get a good heavy duty exrension cord to use as a plug.
You can do the whole project in an afternoon with just basic hand tools

∙ 15y agoYes. It is built on small wheels so it can be moved about easily. Usually more exspensive than a built in unit because it has two finished sides and a finished top that a built in unit does not have. You simply let it set in a convienient place in your home and load it with dirty dishes. when it is full, you wheel it over to your sink. your faucet shoud have a special fitting on the end of it. your dishwasher then plugs into the wall, the hose hooks onto your faucet and you turn on your hot water. then turn on your appliance and the dishes are done. ∙ 13y agoTechnically you can, but it is not advisable, as it is not weighted properly and as a result will be unstable when a rack of dishes is extended outside the cabinet of the dishwasher.
