A baby can survive outside the womb at 24 weeks (hospital staff consider it viable then, if it is before 24 weeks they will do nothing for your baby). The longer the baby stays in the womb the better it is for the baby, and the healthier the baby will be when it is born, generally any time after 36 weeks is considered full term & it is more than safe to deliver the baby. I am a Doula and have provided induction services, tips & techniques to many women to help them go into labor.....please contact me directly if you would like a list of things you can do to hopefully send yourself into labor, naturally (I would avoid drugs like Pitocin at all costs): www.myspace.com/APeaInThePodDoulaServices
This may not be the answer you are looking for, but 36 weeks is a little early to be inducing labor unless it is done for medical reasons and by medical persons. A baby is considered premature at this stage. Some babies can even be less mature than expected at the 37 week mark which is the mandatory limit between premature and mature.
Absolutely not. The baby isn't even fully developed at 30 weeks. He or she would spend several weeks in the NICU, if it survives at all. Just wait, I am 38 weeks pregnant now and I don't rgret waiting so my baby is healthy. It would be safe to trywhen you are considered full term, after 37 weeks. Also, everyone says all natural induction methods fail unless your body is ready for labor. When you reach 37 weeks though you may try sex, walking, pineapple, certain herbs, accupressure, and maybe some pregnncy yoga. Good luck, when you reach that point.
You can go into labor at any stage of pregnancy and 34 weeks is quite a common time to do it. Babies born at 34 weeks, although not fully mature, usually do very well.
If a baby is born at 36 weeks, the baby will probably be fine. Many women go into labour at 36 weeks.
36 weeks
Yes and you should if you want to avoid involvement with CPS......Rescue 5 day permanent detox works and is safe for you and the baby but only use if you are 36 weeks or further because it starts the process of inducing labor however it will not cause you to go into labor spontaniously so dont worry
It is generally safe to go for delivery by 36 weeks. When indicated like in preeclampsia, you may go for delivery at 35 weeks. You may have to put the baby in premature baby unit to give that extra care.
eeh.. my doctor said the same thing when i was pregnant with my daughter. I went into preterm at 26 weeks, they stopped it, then at 36 weeks i started dialating. i was 50% and 1 cm.but i stayed that way from 36 weeks to 41.1 weeks.good luck :O)
It is okay for a person to eat pinapple at 36 weeks. The only thought is that is could cause you to go into labor, although this is not always the case. Canned pineapple will not do this to you though.
You could go into labout tomorrow or you may have to wait 3-4 weeks, there is no way of telling.
It is safe but in the last trimester, avoid having the massage done on your ankles and lower legs as this can cause you to go into labor occasionally.
it might not be anything bad, but it is better to be safe than sorry, so go...
You might go into preterm labor. Not too serious for the baby at this stage, but get it treated as it may go up to your kidneys which could be serious for you.
Yes. It is possible to go into labor at any point. It might not be healthy for the baby to be in labor at 30 weeks, so it's best to get to a hospital and be examined by a medical professional.
Yes, a woman can go into labour at any time during her pregnancy. When it occurs determines what medical definition it gets. If you go into labour before 37 weeks it is called preterm labour. The infant born will then be called "prem" If labour occurs before 22 - 23 weeks it is called spontaneous abortion.
I tried that with my first child. I don't suggest it. I didn't go into labor, but I crapped myself silly! Try pinching your nipples, or getting your man to do it. That releases hormones into your system that will trigger labor. I'm not saying it will work every time, but that's how I induced my labor with my last child.
