yes. there is a possibility of getting a disease from almost any animal. This is why it's a good idea to wash your hands and to aviod touching your eyes or mouth after handling most animals. A disease that can be possily transmitted from a bearded dragon to a human is salminala. No this does not mean all beardies have salminala. But it could be a possibility if the animal is exposed to it (saminala is easily transmitted to reptiles including snakes, lizards, and turtles). So if your Beardie does happen to have it all you need to do is wash your hands after handling, which should be done regardless.
Washing your hands before and after handling your Bearded dragon will help keep you and your new pet healthy. If you wash your hands before handling you reduce the risk of passing anything on to your Dragon. Washing your hands after handling greatly reduce the risk of you contracting salmonella. The risks of getting this are very slim to begin with but hand washing will even further reduce the risks. Your chances of contracting salmonella from the food you eat are greater than your chances of getting it from your Bearded dragon so don't fret.
i dont think u can, but u definitly can get samonilla
well im pretty sure no normal person wants to be abused by a little lizard...and dont let it near those 'lower' regions in your body im not sure about STIs and lizards
What a ridiculous question ! Why on EARTH would you want to MAKE your Bearded dragon sick !
Yes they r they only bite you if your mean to them or actcidentally bite you
The komodo dragon's bite force is 1000 psi, and its venom is powerful enough to kill a buffalo.
yes
because it is sick or thirsty.
Since the female is a masochist, the male will bite her to satisfy her sexually.
are you sure its your female biting your other female? because males bite the the back of the females head when there trying to mate.
Hold it more, and it will become more friendly so it won't bite.
Did it also have the correct heating for the bearded dragon, like a heat lamp and heating pad? If it didn't, then your bearded dragon probably froze to death. Where did you get the bearded dragon from? If it was from a pet store, that will explain it too. Pet stores don't take care of their animals well usually so they are usually sold sick and or very unhealthy
i have a bearded dragon myself and they will not normally bite you however if you put your hand in whilst they are feeding or if you annoy or hurt them yes they will bite and it hurts a lot hope this helps :)
I've never been bitten by my dragon and they are great pets.
yes you do because without heat it will not live long or it will get sick.
