This depends on the method used.
In many cases the answer is No, but in some cases the answer is Yes.
Men can to a certain degre have a successfull reversal.
There are some factors to consider though.
The longer time since the vasectomy, the less likely you are to be fully fertile again.
One of the reasons for this is that the sperms trapped in the body will trigger the immunesystem for breakdown. After a while the immunesystem will become highly effichent at doing this. Even when canals are restored (stitched back together again) the antibodies of the body will still play its part.
Sperm can be misformed etc due to this.
One calculate that about 30-70% of people doing a reversal will be fertile again. The sooner this is done after the vasectomy, the better.
Even so being successfull at start, many men will only be fertile for a year or two after reversal. this also due to scartissue and blockage of the passage, not exluding that the bodys immunesystem plays a mayor role.
I answered wrongly at first as I thought it was a female sterilization :D
Well.. I am only norwegian. The English language is so complex. So many words. :-)
I leave the bit I wrote about female sterilization and undoing though.
There is however no problems in taking eggs out and artifichally have them fertilized with your husbands sperm and then put a fertilized egg back up into the uterus where it should/might attach and you will become pregnant and give birth as normal.
In many countries this is the preferred choice as to actually stich together the fallopian tubes where they have been cut or burned (Often at 2 different places each) will cause some scartissue that might hinder the eggs path to the uterus.
There are safer results with little effort involved with artifichal methods.
Regards.
A vasectomy :)
Yes, at least one physical change can be undone: ice can be melted into water, then frozen again into ice.
It is called a hysterectomy.
The failure rate of tubal ligations is variously put at between 1-2 percent which is not quite as low as a vasectomy which is under 1 percent.
I had a vasectomy about 10 yrs ago. Got remarried we have no kids together. What can we do to get her pregnant
sometimes vasectomies come undone, or if its been years they can reverse......if you had sex too early after the proceedure, it can come undone and you can get pregnant.....go to a doctor and find out, good luck.
Answer : Normally that he has had a vasectomy. There may be other reasons though so you will have to ask him to find out.
Undone is correct.
you can not because the undone is already undone...............
Where I live we usually say shoelace/s. Your shoelace is undone. Your shoelaces are undone.
