Pregnancy test timing is measured from the time of a missed period. Some promise as much as 5 days before the missed period. That's about 7 days past ovulation - but if you're not using a basal thermometer to determine when you ovulated, menstruation is the best calibration point for your cycle.

∙ 12y agoyes it can I'm 2 to 3 weeks pregnant. i first took at test around a week ago and it came out positive after i missed my period but to be on the safe side i went to the doctor today and they ran a blood test and also a urine test both came out positive.because my hormone was high enough to detect

∙ 11y agoIf you are only 2 weeks pregnant there would be not hcg levels to detect they do not occur until implation occur around 6 weeks. Wait until your next period then you can test
AnswerActually, yes you can have a + HPT and high enough HCG at 2 weeks along. Once the egg implants (around 6-10 dpo) your body starts producing HCG. If you have an HPT that detects 20 mlu; then yes you can get a + reading early in the pregnancy.yes this is so true as ive done 2 preg tests and both come back posotive!!!! we all r so different
I second that mine came up at two weeks 2 positive prego tests. and implantation does occur around six to ten days sometime accompanied by light spotting hcg starts being produced shortly after..at six weeks the spinal cord is already getting ready to form along with primitive facial features.
