Answer 1:
Stratford does offer a high school diploma program that you can do at home. It is a good program, but you should know that the diploma is more to help you get a job since they are currently not accredited.
Answer 2:
And as they are not accredited, it won't help much on a job. Because it's not a real degree, and thus you still can't claim to be a high school graduate. Please now input the question "What are some opinions of Stratford Career Institute".
I tried to join the military with a Stratford Diploma and it isn't recognized anywhere. I called and asked why didnt they make it clear to me that i couldn't actually use it and i was told its in the contract. Wow,what a waste of 600 dollars. So now im back in school taking a continuing education class just because some pricks want to make some extra money. So to anyone who is wondering whether or not to apply, take it from me don't. And to show you all proof, Have a Nice day........Reach me at www.myspace.com/kayozda1
Because Stratford Career Institute is not accredited by an agency recognized by the US dept. of Education it is unlikely that any college would accept a degree from there. Additionally, most states will also be unlikely to recognize the credits earned for any sort of licensure purpose.
As long as the diploma is in social worked and you trained for it, then you should be able to get a job as a social worker. Keep in mind of course there will always be more skilled and/or experienced candidates.
Typically this would not be accepted. Still, you have to choose some colleges of interest, and then inquire about the entrance requirements. If you do not meet the general admissions requirements of the four year colleges and universities, you can certainly start with your home county community college which will be open admissions. After proving yourself there you can then transfer to the four year institution. The community college is a great place to start, and it will be much less expensive.
Yes you can. I got my high school diploma from Stratford and I have a good job.
Veterinary assisting is an entry-level position and most assistants are trained on the job. You do not earn a degree in veterinary assisting.
This comes right from Stratford's listing on Wikipedia.org "...graduates wishing to further their education at a school other than Stratford Career Institute should check with that school to determine if their course work is transferable." Some schools will accept a Stratford diploma, but others will not. Your best bet is to check with the institution in which you are interested in attending. Sorry I couldn't be more clear, but the choice really is up to the accepting school. Here is Stratford's wiki listing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stratford_Career_Institute And here is their web page: http://www.scitraining.com Hope this helps. Best of luck to you in your studies.
Stratford is a scam. Stratford Career Institute is not an accredited learning institution, therefore the "diploma" you receive is not likely to be recognized or honored by an employer or college/university. There have also been numerous complaints about fraud, theft, false charges on credit cards, and failure to give refunds when they were supposed to.
you have to complete 6 books to get ur high school diploma and there not tht hard i have 2 left with a 93% grade average
Veterinary assisting is an entry-level position and there is no general requirement for certification or education. There are voluntary education programs for veterinary assistants that range from a few weeks to a year, but the value of these is variable and most veterinary employers train their assistants on the job.
A doctorate in veterinary medecine (DVM).

Yes, I have and it is a complete waste of time...Read the contract closely, they are not an accreditted school so in other words you cant use it anywhere. Its just a piece of paper that's says Diploma and your name, something you could make from your own computer.lol don't get tricked into their scam.......Go to Ripoff.com and check them out please
No, any Diploma not equivalent to BE. In any discipline, esp. in India, after attaining a diploma, you need to study for three years to get a BE.
The Stratford Career Institute is legit as long as you realize that this is not a university or college. This is a learning aid to prepare you to enter into an accredited course. You will get a diploma but it is only a piece of paper. None of your "classes" will be recognized. Any of the courses I have seen seem to be developed very well and will give you an idea what the degree course will consist of and if you wish to go for the degree. As a prep course they are very useful. Also note that they are an end in themselves if you are looking to improve your own personal life. eg, taking an accounting course so you can do your own books. (I am not affiliated with any college, I have completed 4 distance learning courses)
