You can wait a couple of years and the battery might drie up. My sister put hers in the wash and 3 years later it worked. Also, i heard that if you put condoms with the battery they will dry quickly. My friend said that she was sweating so much that were microphone wasn't working right so that's what they did. I hope it works if you try this!!

well there is probably water in the ipod itself. when my phone fell into my pool i put it in a bowl of uncooked white rice and after 1hour and 30 minutes it worked fine.
