Im would really like to know this as I have a 3G 64gb ipad on its way. I think that the only way would be to use the usb camera connection adaptor, however I have watch utube videos and it only seems to support input devices such as microphones etc. and a printer is an output device so I'm not sure but I think not unfortunately =(
yes using air print (ios 4.2) but depending if your printer is new or old and if can do wifi
You can't you have to use a wireless printer when you print it will send it to the printer via wifi
You can buy printers that are compatible with apples product. Those can be found at apples website.
Use AirPrint or EPrint softwares
You will need a printer that supports Apple's AirPrint feature. The iPad and the printer must be connected on the same wireless network. There is no other settings required. Simply press the print icon on the iPad and it will find the printer.
Most network printers have a low-power standby mode which they use when waiting to receive print jobs. The iPad will only let you print to an active printer that it sees on the network, so if you see your printer's model, it is powered on and will wake to print the document.
no sorry
some do like mine.
An iPad 3G can print wirelessly if you have an AirPrint printer on your network. Select "Settings" and "Wi-Fi" on your iPad screen. Verify that you are on the correct network. Navigate to the item you want to print, and click the icon located on the upper corner. Select "Print" from the menu. Use the "+" or "-" to select the number of copies. Tap "Printer", select the appropriate printer and "Print" to begin printing.
It can if it is wirlessly hooked up to a printer
As long as you have a computer on the same wireless network that you can connect your printer to, the the answer is probably Yes. You'll need to install software (like FingerPrint) that enables the printer to appear on your network as an AirPrint-enabled printer, which does cost a few dollars, but once set up it works quite well.
Printer, ELMO, Ipad, and a Camera.
An AirPrint printer is a wireless printer that works over your wifi network, and allows you to print wirelessly from your Mac, iPod Touch, iPhone, or iPad.
Any Airprint-compatible printer connected to the same wifi network as the iPad can print from the iPad with any app that has printing support.
If you do not have a wireless printer then what you can do is attach the document to your e-mail and send it to yourself. Then get on a computer and print it from your e-mail (just click on the attachments and it will load as a document). Hope this helped!!
To connect your Canon PIXMA MG3170 printer to an iPad 3, you can use Apple's AirPrint feature, which allows you to wirelessly print from your iPad to compatible printers. Here are the steps to set up the connection: Ensure Printer Compatibility: Confirm that your Canon PIXMA MG3170 printer is compatible with AirPrint. Most newer Canon printers, including the MG3170 model, support AirPrint. Connect Printer to Wi-Fi: Make sure your printer is connected to the same Wi-Fi network as your iPad 3. Use the printer's control panel or settings menu to connect it to your Wi-Fi network. Refer to your printer's manual for instructions on how to do this if needed. Update Printer Firmware (if necessary): Check if there are any firmware updates available for your Canon printer. Updating the printer's firmware can sometimes improve compatibility with AirPrint and other features. Visit the Canon website or use the Canon PRINT app to check for updates and install them if available. Enable AirPrint on Printer: Ensure that AirPrint is enabled on your Canon printer. Most newer Canon printers have AirPrint enabled by default, but you can double-check the settings in your printer's menu or control panel to confirm. Connect iPad to Wi-Fi: On your iPad 3, go to the Settings app and select Wi-Fi. Connect your iPad to the same Wi-Fi network as your Canon printer. Open App and Select Print: Open the app or document on your iPad from which you want to print. Look for the Print option within the app's menu or settings. The location of the Print option may vary depending on the app you're using. Select Printer: After selecting the Print option, your iPad will search for available printers on the same Wi-Fi network. Your Canon PIXMA MG3170 printer should appear in the list of available printers. Select your printer from the list. Adjust Print Settings (if necessary): Depending on the app you're using, you may have the option to adjust print settings such as paper size, orientation, and number of copies. Make any desired adjustments. Print: Once you've selected your printer and adjusted the print settings, tap the Print button to send the print job to your Canon printer. Your printer should start printing shortly thereafter. If you encounter any issues during the setup process, refer to your printer's manual for troubleshooting tips or visit the Canon website for additional support resources.
