Can you first get a positive pregnancy test results then 3 weeks later a negative result and still not get your period?

I'ts possible it depends on your level of hormons and how late are you . because if you are late but not that late then its possible that the test cant read the hormon that is required for the test to read positive . or you are having problems and would need to go to the doctor about why you havnt had a period yet because it can lead to a serious problem

∙ 17y agoIf you are thinking you are 3 months pregnant and a preg test still shows negative, then this cannot be the case. It is possible a preg tes will not show positive until you are 6 weeks alone (if you have low HCG levels), but not 12 weeks. If you "feel" pregnant, and you are still testing negative, it could be a phantom pregnancy, or there could be something wrong with your periods.

∙ 16y agoIt's possible. One of the first signs of pregnancy is a missed period but you usually have symptoms. I would take a pregnancy test to be sure. Your symptoms of pregnancy will usually appear anywhere from the first week of your expected period to 1-2 weeks after your first week of expected period. Your first signs of pregnancy most commonly include missed period, tender/swollen breasts, change in color of the breasts, fatigue, nausea/vomiting, increased sense of smell, and weight gain. ∙ 15y agoYes, you can get a false negative, but not a false positive. Your second test could be wrong, I'd do it again. Make sure you follow the directions for that test (they can vary) and read it at the proper time.
