Depends on what you were convicted of. If the assault was a felony, no. If the assault was of a family member, that is considered "domestic violence". FEDERAL law- not state- bars such a person from possessing any firearm in any state.
is a criminal charge in which an individual has tried to commit a criminal assault on a person.
Need more specific information on EXACTLY how the charge was worded. There are several different categories of 'assault' in DC, but "aggravated" assault is not one of them.
When a person is charged with assault, an employer can do a background check to look at a persons criminal past. The only way to get the charge off of your record, is to return to court and ask the judge if it can be expunged.
Someone, normally a family member, will be appointed as executor of your estate. That person is in charge of your assets and debts as allowed by law.
Executor
I believe that an Iamfam family member can't die unless you don't do anything to that person.
Assault is defined as ANY un-wanted touching. If the person's face you "grabbed" was a familiy member or significant other, then that is Domestic Assault/Violence.
A family member cannot change a person's will, nor does anyone need to consent. Only a person can change their own will. If the person changes their will, and family believes that they were not of sound mind at the time, they can challenge that will when it is read.
person has the right to rescue a family member who is being attacked
Depends on the state, battery in some states and assault in others. Missouri - Assault...Any unwanted physical contact upon your person by another person is an assault. If it is nothing more than just a touch, that is a common assault. If it is a sexual touch, than it becomes sexual assault. If a weapon of any kind is used, other than a hand, it is an aggrevated assualt. Different states have different degrees for assault.
