It depends on the drug test, but for athletic drug screening, absolutely. The most recent hi-profile case was 2008 Olympic gold medal 400m runner LaShawn Merritt, who failed drug screening in 2010 for banned substances. Though stating he hadn't taken anything knowingly or willfuly, he eventually traced it back to taking some samples of a male enhancement drug (Extenze) containing DHEA (dehydroepiandrosterone) and pregnenolone. He accepted a provisional suspension as a result, for 21 months.
