Well you can't get legal jobs but ask around at stores see if they need any small work for you ex. sweeping hair up at a hair salon. or what i did when i was littler i went with my dad to Walmart and bought the big gallon sized drinks like different flavors of Gatorade and etc. and had a big lemonade stand....i think i made lke $90 that day it was awsome but i had to split it with my brother

YES ... you can get a job at any age ... there are some guide lines that are set by your state on this matter ... with out knowing what state you plane to work in the answer may not be exact ... but you can work 3-4 hours a day on school day and 8 on holidays and non school days ... consult your states Department of labor for full and exact laws on this ...

a lot of jobs..heres some.....

1. Job that I can think of that an 11 year old can get hired doing is Delivering Newspapers. She can do a lot of other things to make money though, she could mow lawns, clean peoples yards or family members houses, collect cans, walk dogs, if she likes doing things like making bracelets or necklaces, she could make them and sell them, have a yard sale. Just tell her to ask her parents to give her some ideas on how to make money, maybe they will have a few things they will let her do for pay! ALSO..
2. Babysitting= Do you have any friends who need a baby sitter?Don't just let her give you money.you have to earn it. It will be beneficial for her to learn how to work at an early age.

Child labor laws usually require that the child be at least 14 before they can get a work permit. There are exceptions for the entertainment industry, but it is strictly regulated. An 11 year old's best bet is to work for family and friends doing odd jobs.Or you can bag things at a market or sometng in that sort.
I am 11 and I would love a weekend job like helping in a charity shop or at the local shop or seeing if the church need any help but I'm just a little to young x
No there is not. Maybe you should be enjoying your child hood instead of looking for a job/ Your still young. But if you want some money you can go around the neighbors to see if you can do something example. Cleaning the yard/cutting it...Good luck!

It sounds like you have a bad situation. By law you cannot have a full time job. You really can't even legally work unless it's for your parents. There are ways around it, but I'm not sure today what would be a proper job for an 11 year old. I wish you the best with your problem. School should be starting soon, and you should be there. I dont think 11 year olds can have jobs, but they could get creative. Finding a way to earn money can be easy and rewarding. If you live in a neiborhood where you have to cut grass, offer the neibors your services. Do a car wash on the weekends for $5 a car or something of that nature. If none of that works, then start a lemonade stand and it will earn you atleast a few bucks for it being, "cute." I dont think 11 year olds can have jobs, but they could get creative. I would make sure that my child did not work at 11, that's pretty sad, unless you are babysitting, which is still a very young age for even that. The only jobs you can get are not related to the government because it is illegal to hire under 14. i am close to your age so i have some experience.

1. Make yourself known. let your mom or dad know that u r interested in a job. (if they happen to be talking to someone with kids, have them say that u r interested in babysitting) let your friends know. if theyre busy they might recommend u. if u know someone who has pets, offer to watch them while the owners are on vacation.

2. make sure u know what u need and maybe research the topic. info really helps.
