No. That would place an unfair burden on the parent who did the right thing and obtained consent prior to moving. However, you should consult with an attorney who can review the facts and explain your options.

If the parent who wants to move is the parent with physical custody the move will be easier with the consent of the non-custodial parent. The court will seek their consent. If they do not consent then there will be a hearing.

There are circumstances when the court will allow the move, however, there must be a very good reason. If allowed, the court will modify the visitation schedule to make certain the non-custodial parent will continue to enjoy as much time with the child as possible. On the other hand the court may decide that a change in physical custody is appropriate if the parent who wants to move far away is doing it for a new job that is not exactly necessary or for a new marriage.

You should consult with an attorney who specializes in custody issues.

Can you move out of the country with your kids if you have legal and physical custody of them?

Not without consent of the other parent. In Michigan the Parent with custody has to live with in 80 miles of the other parent, or get written consent from the other parent and get that consent approved by the courts to live outside of that 80 miles.

Can your parents revoke your license at seventeen?

Take away and revoke are not synonymous in this scenario. I am not aware of a state that a parent can revoke a government issued document but I could be wrong. The state can revoke your license of course under certain penalties but I have never heard of a parent being able to revoke a license. Granted, a parent holds greater rights over a child than the government so theoretically your parents could take away your license among other things but not revoke. I hope that makes sense.
