THese religions & laws are made my human being & they are for human being. Human being should not be used or sacrified just to follow some old laws.
Parsis and Indian Aryans originated from the same stock. Zoroaster's family had visited Punjab, but returned back due to heat and fever in Punjab. This is mentioned in Vendidad, their scriptural book where they mention 'Sapta-Sindhu' as the fifteenth homeland of Aryans. They have the same four-fold division of the society and wear Yajnopavita/Kushti. The mantra for wearing Yajnopavita is exactly the same in our scriptures as well as their's. And then, as the first answerer said, it is 21st Century. They have the same New Year Day as we have.

∙ 8y agoThere are two answers to this question. First of the laws of Western countries and India recognise a marriage between a Muslim girl and a Hindu boy. India has different Marriage Acts for different groups, and the Special Marriages Act is the relevant Act to be married under in this case.
There are also the religious rules to to be considered. Hinduism allows a Hindu boy to marry a Muslim girl, but in Islam a Muslim girl shold not marry outside her religion. There are several options, depending on the strengths of your beliefs and your social and national circumstances: the Hindu boy marries the Muslim girl and each continues in the religion of birth; the Muslim girl converts to Hinduism; the Hindu boy converts to Islam; the girl remains nominally Muslim but ceases to practise her religion

∙ 8y agoYes. The Special Marriages Act of India makes provision for such marriages. In Western countries a civil marriage would not even consider the religion of either party. However, they should recognise that the girl's family would probably oppose the marriage, as may the boy's family.

It is not clear whther the Parsi boy is Muslim or not.
