The dark black incandescent type UV bulbs will work as they actually get hotter than the equivalent standard incandescent bulb of the same wattage, but the compact fluorescent type UV bulbs run too cool.
I don't think a two watt lamp will develop enough HEAT to work.
Yes a black lamp tube will work in a fluorescent fixture. Guess you don't remember the early 70's.
No you cannot use a standard mr-16 12volt bulb as it will short right when you turn it on. They do sell them but you have to look up 120V mr-16 JCDR or JCDR-C.
You could but it would be extremely bright! An incandescent lamp of 60 watt is about 800 lumens And so a 10 watt LED lamp should be plenty big enough. If you want as much light as possible instead of energy saving then you can fit bigger wattage LED lamps. Also, because they run a lot cooler, you can often exceed the maximum (Incandescent) rating for the fitting.
The motion sensor itself will not alter the bulb life, assuming it does not try to dim the fixture. The bulb life would be the same as if someone threw the switch each time the sensor turns on/off. From my experience, some motion sensors work poorly with florescent lights (CFLs or sometimes referred to as spiral bulbs). In my experience they flash, flicker, or stay dimly lit when the motion sensor has nothing in range. I do not know why. I put in an incandescent bulb and everything is fine. If you put a florescent bulb in and it works great then just leave it, it will have a long life. If it flashes or acts weird then, put in an old style incandescent or a halogen.
you could put alimunin in the circuit
My Lava Lamp said to use an A 15 aplliance bulb. I went to Walmart and they didn't have them so I thought the A 19 replaced it. Worng. The A 19 does not fit. My lava lamp had a sticker iside of it saying what type of bulb to use, but, of course, I bought the wrong one. The A 19 is too tall, the bottle didn;t fit.
The lamp will explode.
Yes, you can put a fluorescent light bulb in your floor lamp. You need to see what size bulb the lamp takes, but most sizes can be purchased as florescent bulbs.
You put the light bulb into a light fixture or lamp and plug the lamp into the running generator's electrical outlet. Make sure the generator's circuitbreaker is reset.
yes you can
some kind of heat sensitive goo, and probably dye.
If you are talking about the support that holds the lampshade to the lamp base it is called a "lamp harp".
crawl under car then twist off the back of the fog lamp. undo the wire leading up to the bulb and then unhook the metal clip that holds the bulb in place. Put new bulb in and then put assembly back together.
Get the right lamp or get the right fixture. Do not attempt to modify the fixture to fit the lamp.
If I were you, I would probably get him a Lava Lamp or a regular lamp.
Halogen bulbs generate a lot of heat and for that reason the power (watts) is limited, to prevent a fire hazard. Each light fitting should be marked with a power limit which should be observed. Without additional information a 300 w bulb should not be put in a fiiting that previously had a 230 w bulb.
Assuming this is for one of the 2 rear fog lamps, then remove the three bolts from the rear lamp housing. The fog lamp is the bottom bulb in the set. Give the bulb holder a quarter turn anti-clockwise and remove the bulb and holder from the lamp housing. The bulb is held in place by a plastic clip either side. Spread the clip sideways slightly and the bulb will pull out. Put new bulb in and replace.
