an unlocked phone could mean one of two things. One, the phone belongs to a GSM carrier (like T-mobile, or AT&T) but being that it is unlocked you can use it with any carrier that requires a sim card. The second can mean that it is a CDMA phone with GSM capabilities normally on a Sprint or Verizon Global phone meaning it is a CDMA phone with a sim card slot and as long as it is unlocked it can be used also with any other carrier that requires a sim card. However it has nothing to do with what is on the actual phone, so even if it says T-mobile it can still be an unlocked phone.
The best thing a person can do if they have to have their Nokia phone unlocked is to go to the retailer where the person has an account. If they have a contract with Sprint, then they can go to a Sprint store to get it unlocked.
A Sprint no contract plan is a plan for mobile phones, offered by the company Sprint. It offers unlimited talk and unlimited messaging (on the Sprint network) without a contract that has to be signed. It is known as the program Sprint As You Go and currently has a limited line up of phones to choose from including the iPhone 4.
No, you do not have to be under contract to have a Sprint account. Sprint offers both contract and no-contract options for their customers. You can choose to have a postpaid plan with a contract or go for a prepaid plan without a contract.
You cannot put an unlocked device on Sprint. You also cannot unlock a Sprint phone. I use the term "Sprint on Sprint only" meaning Sprint phones for sprint service, and no one else may use Sprint phones. **** Not true. You can unlock sprint phones and use them with other carriers.
you call sprint and you make a contract with them
no
No!
An unlocked cell phone means that it can be used with any carrier. It does not have to have a contract; however, it can have a phone line on it. (any phone line, not just at&t, verizon, & sprint)
Sprint doesn't use SIM cards...
Sprint sells contract and no contract plans such as Sprint Pay As You Go. They provide 3G, 4G Wimax, and 4G LTE contracted and non contracted services.
If unlocked, then yes.
What "are" sprint phones? Sprint is a phone company like T-Mobile or AT&T the phones that they use have the sprint logo on them.
