Can General Liability Insurance also include Garage Liability Insurance?
Yes it can. In fact, a policy written on a "Garage Liability Form" will show a limit for "Auto" and then also show a limit for "Other than auto". Auto liability is basically due to the fact that the garage will test drive autos while fixing them. Other than auto is the premises or general liability. This shows that garage liability will also include general liability on the declarations page.

The insurer's general undertaking in most liability policies is to pay those sums that the insured becomes legally liable to pay as damages because of bodily injury or propert…y damage to which the insurance applies. The insurer also undertakes to defend the insured against any suit seeking those damages for bodily injury or property damage to which the insurance applies (which means that the insurer hires an attorney and pays related attorney's fees and court costs). These coverages are included under Coverage "A" of the Commercial General Liability policy (hereafter, CGL). Coverage "B" provides protection for personal and advertising injury (distinct from "personal injury"). Coverage "C" provides medical payments coverage for an injured person . There are many exclusions to the coverage provided in the standard CGL policy, which must be filled by endorsements or speciality policies in order for the insured to have truly comprehensive coverage.

Yes. This is why most apartments or landlords require it. This is something that a lot of people overlook when renting. If someone is injured on your promises you are liable. … Most comprehensive tenant's policies include $1 million in personal liability, which is pretty standard. Liability coverage could also cover you when you are liable for damages off your premises. For example, if you served alcohol to your house guests and let them drive home impaired and they cause an accident that injured 4 people, you may also be held liable and your personal liability coverage would provide protection.
