Unless you have been emancipated, you cannot leave home without parental consent until you reach the age of majority (in most states the age of majority is 18, but in a few states it's higher). Her being your adoptive mom is irrelevant, as is her being gay. As far as the drug problems, from the way you worded the question it appears that you're talking about drug problems in the PAST rather than the present. Lots of people have had drug problems in their past, but then cleaned up their lives. If she's CURRENTLY using drugs then I'd urge you to discuss the situation with a school counselor. If you are in a dangerous or unsafe environment, then you need to report it immediately.

No YOU should not get in trouble for an adult son having drugs on him. If it was at your house or any house as long as the drugs are on him, he will be the one in trouble. My younger brother is currently in jail for something similar, his friends did not have drugs on them because they put it on my brothers table in my brothers house. My brother was convicted of those drugs since it was his house, but yet my brother was not even home at the time. As long as the drugs are on him, he gets the blame.

yes i am pretty positive also you can be drug tested for drugs and you can be in big trouble if you know about it and don't act now If i were you i would tell them that (they shouldn't be doing that at your home or you will have to ask them to leave) because if you say it any other way as in mean they could have there friends or connections gang up on you depending on how far along in the drugs plus they steal to pay for the drugs also they lie so just saying take some action
