Women are definitely allowed in mosques. However they should be dressed appropriately as laid out in the Qur'an. Their heads should be covered and they should wear modest clothing. Also women will pray in a separate room to men

I don't know which part of the world you live in, but in every country I've been to (and I've been to quite a few I must say), women do pray in the mosques and most medium to large mosques often have a separate section for women. In fact, you're the first person I've heard to ask this question haha.

Finding this question in the category of Christianity, perhaps you mean to ask whether Christian women are allowed to pray with men in their church. The answer is yes. Modern Christianity does not require women and me to be separated in worship or prayer.

Most Christian churches now recognize that both women and men are created in the Image of God, and are therefore equal in value and status in the Church.

Sure, they are allowed to go to mosques and they will be rewarded by God, per His will, on doing so. The only excuse for them for not going to mosque is if feeling worry about their safety in the road in any troubles country. Usually, women, in mosques, are gathered in groups for more convenient praying in presence of men.
