Veganism is not unhealthy. It can actually be go for your body. Meat is not a essential part of the diet. The same proteins found in meat are also found in beans,rice, nuts, and soy beans. Being vegan reduces the chance of high cholesterol/Heart disease.

A vegan diet is abstaining from usage of animal products such as eggs,milk,cheese etc. and alternatives such as soy milk ,coconut milk, and almond milk are used instead of milk.But starting a vegan life for many of us can be difficult but it isn’t impossible and can be achieved one step at a time ,such as replacing their regular milk with soy milk,almond milk or even coconut milk.Similarly quitting one item at a time can help one in turning their food habits and preference into vegan.

There are a number of benefits of turning towards veganism ,these include the betterment of the environment,improvement of one’s health as well as athletic performance.

These are the 5 ways how a vegan diet can improve one’s health and also help in enhancing one’s athletic performance :

1)A plant based diet can help in reducing the total cholesterol,LDL and HDL levels as compared to a normal diet.

2)Eating vegan food like fruits and vegetables can help in boosting one’s memory.

3)A vegan diet can also be beneficial in lifting up one’s mood as well.An individual eating a vegan diet has fewer chances of depression.

4)A plant based diet as mentioned above is free of cholesterol thereby improving the thickness of blood and this helps more oxygen reach the muscles therefore improving athletic performance.

5)Meat consumption increases cholesterol levels which impairs athletic performance but as you know a vegan diet does the opposite and reduces high cholesterol levels thereby improving a athletes performance and recovery.
