80% of banks use ChexSystems, however, there are several in Florida that do not use ChexSystems or provide second chance banking. Military members may set up an account at Armed Forces Bank or USAA. Non-military members can choose from the following Florida banks: Bank of Pensacola, Keywest Bank, Marketplace Bank, Old Florida Bank, and Prosperity Bank.
Yes there is TCF and Fifth Third. I am sure there are others but these are the two that I use.
Banks make profit and generate revenue by two ways:By charging you a fee for the services they provide youBy lending the money you have deposited into your account, to other loan customers and getting an interest on the same.Interest income is the highest revenue and profit generator for any bank. And this is the non-fee based income for banks
how much is a non-refundable service charge
It depends on the other bank. If your account was frozen and you were reported to chexsystems, telecheck, or ews there is a good chance that if the new bank that you are applying at may deny you if tehy use these same outside sources to verify. You would be best to find a non-chexsystems, telecheck, or ews bank if you were reported to one of them
yes there are some banks in Illinois that do not use chexsystems and there are also some that will give those on chexsystems a second chance.
AnswerI have spent years researching banks and credit unions and I have never found any non-chexsystems banks in California. There are some "in store branch" locations of US Bank that will open accounts for those reported to chexsystems. Some of these branches actually have signs that say " In chexsystems, No problem"If you have " fraud or suspected fraud" reported, they will NOT approve you.
Here is a site that is absolutely free and will provide a list of non-chexsystems banks and credit unions http://www.chexsystemsvictims.com And here is a forum that you can join for free that will help as well ..they offer free sample letters for chexsystems removal and also have a free nationwide list of non-chexsystems banks http://www.chexvictims.net Never pay for the help that you need with chexsystems issues
US Bank is approving many people in chexsystems. You have to find an " in store branch " not a regular branch. Some locations even have signs that say "chexsystems no problem" I always suggest you call ahead and make sure it is a branch that holds this policy. If you have been reported to EWS, do not apply for an account at Bank Of America. They may open it but will close it at a later time.

Opening A Savings AccountGenerally if a bank uses chexsystems, they will use it to open a savings as well. Sometimes a credit union will open a savings account if you are on chexsystems as long as you are eligible for a membership even if they will not open a checking. Some banks and credit unions do not verify savings accounts through chexsystems so it really depends on the bank or credit union .Right now ING direct is an excellent place if you are looking for a savings ONLY. They will not run chexsystems.related question for more helpAre_there_any_banks_that_do_not_use_Telecheck_or_Chexsystems

A person can be reported to ChexSystems for several reasons including:Maintaining a negative balance for 60 daysMisusing their accountFraudNSF feesOnce reported, your records stay on ChexSytems for up to 7 years and it becomes extremely difficult to open accounts at major banks.SolutionsThe obvious solution is not to be reported in the first place, by maintaining a positive balance and not misusing your bank accounts. If you have already been reported to ChexSystems / Check Systems (ChexSystems is the correct spelling, though it is confusing for some), you have a few options:Open 2nd chance checking accounts with non-major banksOpen accounts with banks that do not use ChexSystems (very few)Use the ChexSystems Removal Kit by IDTheft Pros and remove the reported information.
Comerica Bank DOES use Chexsystems.
Try TCF
