This is called an RFID chip and is similar to those developed for use in pets. The technology has been adapted for use in humans and was tested by the US Army in the 1980's but was discarded for battlefield security reasons. There are three companies in the US today that market this to fearful parents, and such chips have been implanted in children, although it is not a mainstream idea.

Additionally, there is growing evidence that RFID chips have been linked to tumors and cancer in pets and some of the earliest implantations in humans. As a partial result of this growing evidence, states such as Georgia have banned forced implantation of RFID or similar technology in humans. S.B. 235 passed the Georgia House Judiciary Committee April 14, 2010 with no amendments. Other states such as Virginia, Massachusetts, and California. The FDA has halted studies of implantation of active RFID and are limiting the implantation of devices to the passive type at this time. Applied Digital Solutions, Inc., the manufacturer of the brand name VeriChip RFID and the largest of the three current RFID manufacturers, has been successfully sued by the FDA for marketing fraud, and in class action for other forms of fraud related to the manufacture and marketing of their product.

The chips themselves do not contain any information other then a simple ID number by FDA regulation. There is no other information currently installed in any chip available. This ID number could allow a person with a receiver to access a database (if they have a license or ability to do so) to link your information within the database to that specific I.D. There are concerns of how easily this information may be obtained by illegal means as well. Currently there is no large scale database system that links RFID's to your personal information.

Similar technology is used in many places and has recently begun to come under fire as well for privacy invasion issues.

While some may feel they have some privacy issues, companies use the system for tracking abilities that are beyond reproach. As an example, a mobile home manufacturer uses a stronger form of this technology to watch where each of there units are within their shop and when the product enters a dealership and when the unit is sold. The chip is implanted in a wall within the unit. The bottom line is the same, the chip itself only transmits a specific I.D. number that equates known information rather then actually providing that information. To date we have sold over a million RFID's in the past six years, with no legal challenges at all and no privacy issues even questioned.

The simplest answer to your question though is no. No one makes a RF chip that has this ability. The technology for that amount of information to be carried in a device that small and output that level of information on demand does not exist, nor is there a need for that technology.
