That depends on what kind of mobile user you tend to be.

If you use your mobile phone for nothing more than making phone calls, then you should save your money. The iPhone, like all "Smartphones", is a feature-rich device which you would find useless if you did not utilize them.

On the other hand, if you are someone who frequently sends text messages/emails, uses the web in "quick searches" often, and enjoys social networking (Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, etc.), then you would probably enjoy the device.

Although Smartphones are commonly used for "business", the iPhone is a Smartphone for the "everyday consumer". It browses websites just like your computer would (instead of "mobile formatted" websites), it enables quick and easy access to your email account, and has an on-screen "QWERTY" keyboard (which comes in especially handy if you text a lot). Not to mention, you've got an iPod built right in for your music and videos.

There are literally hundreds of thousands of "Apps" (applications/programs) available for the device, both free and paid, on Apple's "App Store", which in itself is an "App" that comes preloaded on all iPhones. You can download photo editing software, social apps (like the popular Facebook App), and games, just to name a few things.

The iPhone is available in AT&T and Verizon, but soon may be coming to Sprint and T-Mobile, bring it to all 4 major data carriers.

Finally, weigh your options. There are other user-friendly Smartphones available that you might find better suiting. Some people prefer Blackberry's or Androids, for example. My personal opinion is that if you are looking for an easy to use, fun, and convenient Smartphone, go with the iPhone. I used a Blackberry for several months and found it to be less friendly and more complicated. Androids tend to be more customizable, for example you can download widgets for your home screen and further customize your apps. Granted, I used it after having an iPhone for over a year, so I could be bias.

To be honest the IPhone 4 is not that good how you might be asking well where to start

1. My brother got his on Monday then on Tuesday he dropped it then the screen cracked.

2. You can only use left hand calls

3. And last if you plug it in the car and you call someone it makes the worst noise

It is a matter of personal opinion.

In my personal opinion, no, they aren't.

Their lack of security is extremely alarming. Apple still use outdated security encoding methods whilst other modern companies have updated to newer security measures. We recently saw how bad Apple's security is at the height of the celebrity icloud hacking, resulting in hundreds of personal images being leaked onto he internet.

Apple products are also assembled in China by underpaid workers in dangerous factory conditions. For every $200 Apple makes, about 20 cents of that goes to the worker who assembled the product. That is technically a modern-day form of slavery.

Therefore, no, Apple products are not good, in my opinion.
