In many different nations around the world it is believed humans and all living life have a type of life energy which although never proven many people have in fact demonstrated some forms of specular powers including the Chinese art of TaiChi which is a Martial Arts that expands the spirit to attack internal organs and other things and i personally saw them explode the other side of a watermelon.

If you do not want to go that far and want to stick with classical physics, humans contain mass and are made of solids, liquids and gases. It all depends on your point of view.
