Chocolate milk and chocolate milkshakes aren't the same thing.
Milk that is flavored with chocolate is called chocolate milk. If it's made as a milkshake it's a chocolate milkshake.

That being said, it is alright to enjoy a dessert once in a while, perhaps even once or twice a week, so it is not necessary to avoid chocolate milk shakes altogether if you crave them and also are maintaining your weight/losing weight. Many things are bad for you but there is no need to abstain from all of them unless instructed to do so by your primary care physician. To reiterate however, OF COURSE CHOCOLATE MILK SHAKES ARE BAD FOR YOU - THEY ARE MADE OF FATTENING MILK AND SUGARY CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM.
