No they are not, being peaceful is not what you earn but what you given... if you look at prophets time, none of them were in peace regardless of doing everything right, I mean always something unexpected come up with, Its really not easy to catch up peace in religion and how could anybody as a Muslim be in peace if its believed that there is a judgement day and will everyone going to be judge with every single deed they have done..?
They should be, but too many wars and conflicts have been caused in the name of a religion. To some more fanatical people, religion is used as an excuse to force their view of life on to others.
YES. Most Muslims are peaceful. Islamic terrorism is a very small percentage of the Muslim population, just as terrorists in general are a minimal part of the population. Terrorists make up less than 1% of Muslims (it is estimated that there are roughly 300,000 Jihadists in the world out of 1.6 billion Muslims).
The reason that this <1% of Muslims are so infamous is that Jihadists are responsible for an inordinate share of casualties. In the last ten years, over 85% of terrorist incidents and 85% terrorist-related fatalities were perpetrated by Muslims.
No. Muslims believe that war is justifiable in extreme circumstances, such as to fight oppression or to defend yourself.
Some are, some are not. Just like people of any religion.
Because there not smart enough to know what Religious people do! I hate people like that...

The first was Rhode Island, which allowed all religious denomination's to worship freely, and without any prejudice from others ~ and no interference from the government when it came to religion. This included Jews and Quakers. Maryland was the second "toleration colony." It was a refuge for Catholics.

A new religious sect arose after the restoration of the English monarchy. They were called the Society of Friends, also known as the Quakers. They became a problem for the English monarchy because they were pacifists and would not take up arms to fight in a war. They were persecuted by the Anglican Church and via William Penn, a new convert to the religion, a charter was granted for what was Pennsylvania. The new colony allowed religious freedom for all.
No one person believes the same as another. People should display a sense of equality for all no matter what their religion is. Does it work out that way? Unfortunately, no.
