For a quick answer to your question : Nothing.

The old cards " Referring to the ones made during the late 90's" such as the Base set, Jungle, Fossil.. etc. are only worth whatever someone is willing to pay for it.

The old cards can't be used in tournaments anymore and the fact that yours is in Chinese print makes them even more worthless in North America or Europe.

Your best bet of selling them is on Ebay. The most you will get for them is about maybe $40 - $90 for a 3-inch binder full of them.

On a side note, because most (not all) Chinese Pokemon cards sold in the west are bootlegged, it is very likely that not many people are going to buy them (with the exception of those who are willing to risk using them to cheat in playing with friends).

What are some rare pokemon cards?

The rarest Pokemon cards are shining Pokemon cards. Basically, these cards would feature a Pokemon illustrated in a different color than normal. In older packs, they would have the word, 'shining' printed next to their name. In the third generation, first released in the set, 'EX Team Rocket Returns', shining cards would have a gold star stamp next to their name. Later on, in the fourth generation, there would be no direct indication next to the name on the card, but the illustrated Pokemon would still be a different color than normal. These cards are very, very, very rare. Normal selling price for a shining card in good condition is ranged from 20 to 25.00. The rarest of these is Shining Charizard released in the second generation Neo Destiny packs, which sells for a whopping 80.00!

Can you mix black and white Pokemon trading cards with the older cards and still play in like a tornemant or something?

No. To make sure that we keep on paying money for cards, the official Pokemon people round out or ban all cards from certain packs every now and then. That means you can only use more recent cards in tournaments.

it matters what Pokemon you mean. Most Pokemon evolve by leveling up, others with stones and items, some by friendship or condition (some at certain times), and still more by trading!
