Could be a plugged fuel filter or a plugged catalytic converter.
Try replacing the camshaft sensor... had the same problem on an 89 and changed the sensor... works great now
Accelerator pedal position sensor basically the gas pedal go to advanced auto parts $100 two 10 mm bolts unplug the sensor then reverse to install and your all set
bad gas, dirty air filter, engine timing, throttle position indicator going bad, map sensor, dirty spark plugs, missed the gas pedal, ignition coil getting week, low tranny fluid, wet ground/tire spin, or it could be a ford.
Check the camshaft sensor. If the sensor is bad or not getting power, then the engine will not fire and the injector will not get a signal.
No, it will not. Try replacing the belt.
the brake light wiring often runs through the turn signal switch i would test power going in to the brake light switch on the pedal and power coming out when pedal is depressed if power is ok suspect turn signal or hazard switch
try replacing camshaft position sensor. About $25, 5 minute job. Top back of engine at end of valve cover. Made a huge difference in my truck, a lot more power and revs!
If you have not already replaced your spark plugs then do so, you might also want to check the coils while your replacing plugs if it still runs rough with loss of power try sea foam to clean your crank shaft and your injectors and all the fueling system.
This was a design Ford tried on the 4 cylinder engine. The 2 plugs per cylinder was supposed to give you a more complete burn of fuel thus increasing power and mileage. When replacing the plugs, install 8 on this engine.
You can't. You have to use the pedal's AC adapter or a Voodoo Lab Pedal Power AC. Pedal Power 2 is a DC unit; the Whammy is an AC unit.
Your computer may need to reset, try disconnecting your battery for at least 30min.
Your power brake booster may be defective. You may have a vacuum leak or the booster itself could need replacing.
