From the Legal Bluebook (19th Ed.):

"Abrogated cases.

Cases that are effectively (but not explicitly) overruled or departed from by a later decision of the same court are indicated with the phrase 'abrogated by.'"

"On other grounds" simply means that the holding the case is being cited for is still "good law," but another holding of the case has been effectively overruled.
