The back up lights on an E350 Ford Econoline Van won't work if the fuse has blown, the bulbs are bad, or the wiring has become disconnected. The reverse sensor also controls when and if the lights turn on.
the fuse is blown. they are on the same fuse
Bulbs mis-installed, blown fuse, connector not plugged in, wrong bulbs, etc.Bulbs mis-installed, blown fuse, connector not plugged in, wrong bulbs, etc.
Stereo systems obviously have illumination lights in them. Sometimes they will route these illumination wires to an area of the fuse panel which seems to affect the park lights, guage lights, etc. If the illumination wire(s) has touch an area of grounded metal, or another wire while installation, the problem is most likely a blown fuse. I hope you get this problem fixed. Good luck.
just pull them one by one and replace them if blown. if it ain't blown when you pull it put it back in the same hole.
Blown fuse.
when it doesnt work
it is possible that u may have used a wire that is also used in the same circuit as the dash lights which would cause a parrellel path for the current and therefore might not be neccesarily supplying enough current to the dash lights was the stereo put in by a proffesional
Blown fuse
