This is my son-in-laws truck. I have to fix it
How to replace the inside Spectra Heater Core on a 2000 dodge durango??
Depending on where you buy it from, between $45.00 to 250.00 dollars.........
It is located behind the passenger side dashboard. The dashboard has to be removed to replace.
Unless your van has some unusual heating system, the heat going out could mean that you are totally out of coolant, or your thermostat may be stuck closed. If you have a normal heating system and your heater is still blowing air, just not hot air, it could be those two things. Is the van having any other problems?
Cold air blowing out of the heater is a sure sign of low coolant. Antifreeze running out of the front of the motor _could_ be a bad water pump. The two go together like ham & eggs.
