I have a 97 Buick Park ave and the dash lights went out ? all other lights seem to be working , and I cannot identify which fuse , if any could be in need of replaceing . I cannot , with the owners manual , identify which fuse it is that controlls the dash lights ? there are too many , fuses with confusing acronyms ? Any one know exactly which fuse I need to check ?

Check the 1993 Park Avenue fuses first. Check the light dimmer switch to make sure that it is functioning. If these are ok, look for a bad wiring connection.

The fuse panel is located on the driver side beside the parking brake. It is easy to get to but hard to change fuses.... be prepared to lay on the ground.
Not knowing what you've done so far, have you checked your fuses yet ?
A short to ground causes all fuses to blow. If you have a trailer connecter then start there first.

You turned off the dash light brightness control switch or blew a fuse. If you have power at the dash illumination fuse, the dimmer switch may be faulty.
