It may be the fuse that is causing it to fail. I own a 2002 Audi A6 Quattro, and that was my first problem. In other cases, check that the wiring is intact with no cracks. If all else fails? It's probably the seat. p.s. Fuses are pretty cheap
Could be a blown relay, the connections or elements are broken, or the switch.

why do most all my dash light come on and the one head light looking one blinks.. i do have about 14 volts coming from the alternator and the battery at all times.
the power window module is under the dash on the drivers side below the steering wheel and it is the large on in the middle but the back side of the panel you have to remove says what each relay is for
the "accessory belt" or "drive belt" is an 87 inch serpentine belt on 4.9 liter cars...there is a 5 mm difference in width on the cars with heated windshields..than from the cars w/o heated windshields.... ac delco part # 6K870 w/o heated windshield ac delco part # 6K875 w/heated windshield the 4.6 northstars take completely different belts. hope this helps

You probably worked it too hard. Or the radiator doesn't work. Or it depends where it over heated. Was it in a hot place? Also, the fan might be broken Or the belt.
